RSVP provides inbound and outbound lead generations services for Viking River Cruises. In particular we undertake follow up calls after customers requested a brochure online. Viking River Cruises recently expanded their ship numbers quite dramatically and used RSVP to help them fill the extra places.

The job of the agent is to build a relationship with the customer and to answer questions they may have. They are required to fully inform the customer where necessary and make recommendations on particular cruises that may be of suit to their needs. Once relevant information is established and the customer expresses specific interest in a specific cruise, the RSVP agent will then pass that through to the Viking in-house team as a hot lead for them to secure the booking.

In order to do this effectively, the agent must have intimate knowledge of the cruises, service and ships as well as have the ability to engage with a very specific demographic.

Results

RSVP were able to have a significant impact on sales as well as the customer relationship with their best year of sales ever. It was clear that a proactive way of engaging with customers who had expressed interest was far more effective and profitable than waiting for customers to book.
