As you know, here at RSVP we only hire those from the creative industry - this is also the case for our brand new Manchester branch!
One of our fabulous new members of staff is currently rehearsing for 'Whispers of Heaton' - a wonderful play which pays tribute to all that have suffered in the war.
The play will run between Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday, 11th -13th November, at Heaton Park.
'Following the sell out world premier in May, this beautiful show by Feelgood with Tangled Dance Company returns by popular demand over the period of remembrance.
"All those involved deserve applause; Whispers is something to shout about" Manchester Theatre Awards.
For a final three days the great rooms of Heaton Hall will be open and echo with the voices of the past, revealing a myriad of timeless stories of uncompromising love and courage, laughter and humanity at a time when the First World War and the Somme changed lives forever.
Woven together in contemporary music, drama and dance, audiences will move from room to room and hear how Enrico Caruso, the women’s peace movement, Ralph Vaughan Williams, The Manchester Pals Regiments and an unknown bugler connected at Heaton Hall.'
