We do love a bit of charity here at RSVP as you may already know from our fundraising events such as bake sales, activity days and pyjama days. We want to help charities in any way we can, and we believe getting our agents involved in fundraiser events not only raises money for fantastic causes but also brings us closer together as a company.

It’s no exception that our lovely account manager, Tim Hayward, recently took part in Walk the Wight for Earl Mountbatten Hospice. He was accompanied by fellow colleague Kristy Bruce, Sister Nicola and their dad Phil. It was a 26.5 mile walk across the Isle of Wight from Bembridge on the east side to Alum Bay on the west side, via Carisbrooke Castle at the centre!

The Earl Mountbatten Hospice has been the only hospice on the Isle of Wight for 35 years and is well known for its innovation in hospice care throughout the UK. The Walk the Wight has been running (or should I say walking) for 27 years and every year attracts thousands of participants from across the UK to raise money for the trusted hospice.

Tim and his team had some very generous donations from friends, family and of course from us at RSVP and between the four walkers they managed to raise a whopping £560.66!!

A massive well done to Tim, Kristy, Nicola and Phil from the RSVP team and we hope the overall total raised from the walk continues to help the care of many patients at The Earl Mountbatten Hospice.
