Last week, across the UK, Which? hosted a great Easter Bake-Off at its sites to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care. The Which? team at RSVP got involved too, baking some amazing cakes and pastries to sell.
Doris’s Easter egg-stravaganza cake wowed everyone, and Chris and Leah’s giant bunny cake stole the show. Ellen made a mountain of delicious Cornflake Cakes, Andrew baked chocolate rugelach and cinnamon puffs and Gemma had us all humming Land of my Fathers with her wickedly indulgent Welsh Cakes topped with strawberries and cream. Amal from Secret Escapes donated two boxes of incredible cupcakes that disappeared as quickly as they could be put out.
Staff from across RSVP donated money and wore their Marie Curie daffodils with pride. When only crumbs were left on the plates, the team had raised over £100!
Impressed by the culinary creativity of the agents, Mark Abernethy, Managing Director, congratulated the team; “well done for such a great effort and some great cakes, the money you raised is going to a very worthy cause and… RSVP is delighted to match the money you have raised”.
So in all, it brings the total raised by RSVP to a fantastic £250!
