Starting in 2009 Surviving Actors has held a series of conventions designed to help people in the industry. Surviving actors is an annual event held in London and across the UK to help actors in the business called show. Much like RSVP the event has been set up by actors for actors, and we as a company have close ties with the event.

Surviving Actors is not just seminars and workshops on how to improve your acting it is also (and as you can probably tell by the name) there to help actors survive when the telephone is not ringing. “The events are a realistic and honest approach to real life as an actor; we don’t shy away from the off-periods.”

The event will be held at the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel on Saturday the 6th of February. It will include seminars from Casting Directors from the UK and Hollywood as well as “many leading industry organisations including Spotlight, Equity, The Actors Centre and more.” There will also be some famous faces at the event including Ben Lloyd-Hughes, Freddie Fox and Susannah Fielding talking about their experiences in the industry and how they dealt with the start of their career.

RSVP will be attending once again this year with our merry band of agents, to talk to actors about the joys of RSVP and the flexibility we offer as well as the other benefits.  It is something we look forward to all year and can’t wait to meet a brand new batch of young and exciting talent.
