RSVP has been named in the list of ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain 2016' by the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). The annual list is compiled as a celebration of Britain’s fastest growing and most dynamic small and medium size enterprises (SME’s) and RSVP was chosen as being in the top 1000 out of 5.4 million in the country (according to parliament.uk as in 2015). The report which is backed by the government and all major political parties covers all sectors of business and geographical areas of the UK.

RSVP now in its 28th year of operating made their way on to the report with extremely impressive growth figures in this decade. In the past 6 years their annual turnover has increased by 125% with their number of clients grew from 9-60. RSVP policy of hiring actors and performers only has allowed it to be robust and flexible through a tough financial period for the UK and the rest of the world. The natural salesperson in most actors has meant that the company is constantly outperforming others in the sales and service industry.

“Our selection criteria require companies to have shown not just growing revenue over the past four years, but also to have outperformed their sector peers” this is written by Xavier Rolet the CEO of the LSEG on their website. In his post Mr Rolet wanted to highlight how important SME’s are to the growth of the UK economy “When we first launched this project in late 2013, we said our desire was to shine a light on what we knew to be true: that these companies are the engine of the UK economy.”  Mr Rolet ended his piece with this “The UK is at its best when ambitious entrepreneurs and companies are given the space and support to thrive. These 1,000 companies are the vanguard of a new, anti-fragile British economy. We hope you are inspired.”

RSVP Managing Director Mark Abernethy was delighted to get the news that the company was named in the report “We’ve always believed that we have a dynamic and inspiring company and it is very encouraging to have this officially acknowledged.” Mr Abernethy also was quick to recognise the work that the agents have done in getting RSVP to this point. “I believe that we have become one of the leaders in the industry due to the fact that we nurture unique, talented call centre agents. We look after our agents and we believe in keeping their creative dreams alive. They love coming to work, it’s an upbeat atmosphere.”

We here at RSVP would like to thank everyone who has got us to this point. We would not have got here without the help of every client, director, manager, supervisor and agent so thank you all for the hard work. Here’s to next year.
