As a business, particularly as an outsourcer, it is important to be seen interacting with other companies. The most successful companies are those that spend their time and energies getting their working ethos and strategies out there into the world. This helps to generate new and increased levels of work and help a company to grow. One of the best places to do this is at a commercial expo. At the end of September this year, RSVP attended the fantastic eCommerce Expo at the Olympia Exhibition Centre in London, a great annual event for any business wanting to connect with others. The event took place over 2 days and the RSVP team were out in force to meet as many people as possible.
The eCommerce expo is the UK’s largest annual event in the retail calendar. The expo housed over 300 exhibitors, 250 expert speakers, more than 250 educations/conference sessions, over 150 suppliers dedicated to retail, and saw over 12 000 attendees in total. The expo serves as a platform to connect B2B and B2C buyers, suppliers and thought leaders, and is a must-attend annual event for anyone involved in ecommerce ventures. Allowing attendees to search around the various different exhibitor stalls, the event is a perfect opportunity for businesses to find practical and actionable solutions to help their companies thrive.
Exhibiting at events such as the eCommerce Expo let’s other people know what your business does and what it is that makes you so special. RSVP has a fantastic unique selling point; we only employ actors. Actors are, as we already know, an incredible resource to use in telecommunications work, and at the eCommerce expo, we made sure that everyone else knew that as well! With so many great companies to explore over just 2 days, the fear can be getting lost in the crowd, but this was never going to be a problem for us here at RSVP. A select few of our agents took to the expo floor, kitted out in the most incredible costumes, all supplied by Angels Fancy Dress. Dressed to the nines in outfits inspired by some of our favourite TV shows, attendees flocked to meet our team, and they soon found themselves directed over to RSVP’s stall to learn more about what RSVP could do for them.
Here are the team showing off their incredible costumes from Angels Fancy Dress!
John and Emma lived out their Westworld fantasies in these beautiful outfits!
Emily and Joshua were ready for action in their Game of Thrones getups!
Mike and Hannah giving us Vanity Fair realness!
At the RSVP stall, the team weren’t left out of the fun there either, each of the team fitted with an RSVP branded t-shirt, complete with some famous film quotes on the back! Moreover, while other stalls gave out freebies of USB sticks, teddy bears and mints, RSVP’s film-themed fun continued with our own working popcorn machine and a giant Oscar statue adorning our station.
Michael and Dom were very excited by their movie-themed t-shirts!
Needless to say, the event was a complete success, and we connect with many new people. We can’t wait to go back again next year!
