RSVP has begun an exciting relationship with a music licensing company which works on behalf of 45,000 performers and 5,750 record companies, licenses the use of recorded music in the UK.

The delicate task of approaching businesses that play music in the workplace to ensure they have a license has been entrusted to a key team of people with skills that encompass sales and customer service. Once business owners are made aware of the legal requirement, we then send an invoice to them for payment.

The challenge is in the blend of customer service soft skills with sales technique. We need to engage them in the importance of the license, whilst asking them for money that they were not necessarily expecting to pay!

Things are looking good so far with high conversion rates from invoices issued to invoices paid.
